Awakening Young Adults
Awakening YA (ages 18-25)
Building Faith. Creating Community. Living Purpose.
Awakening YA welcomes young adults ages 18-25 to discover what it means to follow Jesus in today's world. We believe God has amazing plans for your generation. We want to help you build momentum toward a stronger relationship with Christ.
What We're About
Life moves fast in your twenties. You face big decisions about careers, relationships, and your future. We get it. Awakening YA creates a space where you can explore faith alongside people who understand your journey. Whether you're single, married, in college, or starting your career, you belong here.
We focus on honest conversations about real life. We study God's Word together. We pray for each other. Most importantly, we grow closer to Jesus.
Our Foundation
The Bible tells us to "trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Proverbs 3:5). We believe God wants to guide every part of your life. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that God has "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you hope and a future."
Jesus said, "I have come that they may have life, and have it abundantly" (John 10:10). We want you to experience that abundant life. We believe it starts with knowing Jesus personally and following Him daily.
What to Expect
Our times together are relaxed and welcoming. We meet weekly for Bible study and fellowship. We organize social events, special services, and a retreat throughout the year. You'll find genuine friendships here. You'll discover how God's Word applies to your daily challenges.
We don't have all the answers, but we know the One who does. Come as you are. Bring your questions. Bring your struggles. Bring your dreams. Let's grow together.
Join Awakening YA and discover the momentum God wants to build in your life. Your story matters. Your future is bright. Your journey with Christ starts now.
We meet each Wednesday at 7:30pm at the Palace of Praise in the upstairs portion of the "Metro".
